Tastings at Houyi Estate

We are moving our Tastings at Realm North to Houyi Estate. When we first opened Realm North, we hoped to create a relaxed, welcoming space where members could gather with friends and family and enjoy a flight of wines. What we found was meaningful connection and community. What we felt was missing was the presence of our Estate vineyards. By bringing this experience to Houyi, we are returning the tasting to the source.

At Houyi Estate, members will enjoy a flight of current release wines in a convivial communal setting. From time to time, we will offer access to a supplemental list featuring library selections and wines that inspire us, available for an additional fee. The experience remains approachable and unhurried, designed to encourage conversation, discovery, and time together around the table. While our space welcomes groups of up to six, we encourage you to email us with requests for larger groups.

Houyi Vineyard is our estate site perched at nearly 1,300 feet on Pritchard Hill, along the eastern edge of Napa Valley. The 22-acre vineyard sits above the fog line, rooted in dense volcanic rock that yields fruit of depth and concentration. Since 2013, we have produced a single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from this site, and in 2022 we were honored to acquire the vineyard from the Chang family. The wines are rich and complex yet remarkably composed, reflecting both the power and the grace of this mountain setting.

With sweeping views across Napa Valley and a deeper connection to the land beneath your glass, Tastings at Houyi Estate offer a memorable perspective on Realm. We are excited to welcome you to Pritchard Hill and to share this next chapter together.
