2026 marks ten years since Realm transformed from a virtual winery to a Domaine with the acquisition of an estate in the Stags Leap District. For more than a decade prior, Realm sourced fruit from a diverse array of Napa Valley’s vineyards. Over time, we came to believe that in order to make truly great wines, we needed a place of our own. The purchase of Moonracer in late 2015 marked a turning point: a home where we could take root and shape the wines from the ground up. 2016 was our first harvest in our new home. It was here that we began to evolve into a true Estate—focused on the land and craft, and guided by the belief that great wines come from great vineyards cared for over time.
In this edition of our Estate Visit Series, members are invited to reflect on that first decade at Moonracer Estate—a setting that represents both our history and our future. Together, we’ll walk the vineyard and share what we’ve learned after ten years of farming this land. We’ll discuss plans for future plantings and explore how our identity as a Domaine continues to take shape. We will taste a wine from 2016 next to various current releases, which will provide a glimpse into our evolution over the past decade.
The story of The First Decade is one of growth, resilience, and discovery. As we look back and ahead, we are profoundly grateful to our members whose belief in Realm has made this journey possible. You are part of this story—of what we’ve built together and of what’s still to come.
Terms & Conditions
Limited availability and open to active members with a purchasing history. Each experience is approximately 90 minutes and includes a brief walk through the vineyard, so please wear comfortable shoes. For members celebrating their five-year anniversary with us, we offer complimentary attendance for them and up to three guests (for a total of four people, including the member). To ensure access for all members, each member may book one visit per seasonal Estate Visit series. Please note, we cannot accommodate guests under 21, outside food, or non-service animals due to permit requirements.
Reservation changes requested within 48 hours of your appointment may not be accommodated. If you need to cancel your reservation, please inform us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled experience will result in a full charge. If you cancel a complimentary visit within 48 hours, you may book a future reservation 90 days after cancellation. Tasting fees apply to all visits and are not waived with wine purchases. In consideration of our other scheduled guests, we cannot accommodate visits for parties that arrive more than 30 minutes late to their appointment.
