Eighteen months since our last release, we are pleased to announce the release of our 2005 vintage wines. Our release begins today, Wednesday, February 6th, and will close Friday, February 29th.

Your 2005 Vintage allocation is available through our online ordering system, which can be accessed by clicking on the following link - http://www.realmcellars.com/2005VintagePurchase. If you are currently a member of our mailing list, your user ID is your email address and your temporary password is "realm". Please note our "Wish List" feature. With this vintage we have added Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon while we continue to produce four wines from the preceding vintage: The Bard, Farella Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, The Tempest, and Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. We will be pouring our 2005 vintage wines at our upcoming Release Parties in San Francisco, New York City and Los Angeles during the month of February.

Since our debut vintage in 2002, Realm Cellars has consistently pursued a simple mission - to produce wines of superior quality in small amounts, hand-crafted from Bordeaux varietals sourced from some of the most distinctive Napa Valley vineyards. In five short years, we have accumulated an enviable portfolio of vineyard sources which we regard as one of our greatest assets in our quest to produce world-class wines. We are pleased that the most notable wine critics, including Robert Parker and Stephen Tanzer, have characterized our 2005 vintage wines as our best efforts to date.

Beginning with the 2005 vintage, we have embarked on a path to produce a special wine that is a truly unique expression of each vintage. With the expansion of our vineyard portfolio, we now have the ability to combine our best lots from each vintage to produce distinctive blends that are worthy of a separate bottling. Our first wine from this initiative - 2005 The Absurd - has been bottled. This project represents the artistic and creative energy that embodies Realm Cellars. It bears an unconventional label designed by Craig Frazier, one of the country's most respected designer/illustrators. We will be providing a "sneak peak" of these wines during our Release Parties in February. The Absurd will sold in 3-packs as part of a separate release cycle.

Consistent with the release of previous vintages, supply constraints require us to apply allocation limits and our tiered structure is based entirely on order history. We have incorporated a "wish list" feature that allows customers to communicate interest in purchasing additional bottles. Importantly, we also intend to impose a "Three Strikes" policy whereby any member of our mailing list who has neglected to order for three consecutive vintages will be dropped from our mailing list (applies to anyone who joined prior to February 2005) in order to reward our most loyal customers.
